The following reflection is attached to the back of the painting on laminated card stock.
The sun has been playing games all day. Slipping in and out of cloud cover, it offered broken promises of full sun. Tonight as it dips lower in the sky, it has finally made its presence amongst billowy clouds.
Light drenched foliage and sky are a welcome vision after a day filled with moments of overcast. As clearer skies return a promise of sunny days ahead is predicted for tomorrow. Warm summer days bring an easy living that no other time of year presents. If only one could bottle this feeling and save it for cold wintry days.
