The following reflection is attached to the back of the painting on laminated card stock.
A late planting of seeds brought blooms early in autumn. All summer I peeked below large rounded leaves, seeking signs of floral life.
Finally, tiny buds began to grow along trailing stems; maturing into large flowers of varying colors. They danced in and out of their green coverage, promising to
imbue the garden with color well into autumn.
