A Warm Welcome From Debbie

I am thrilled to welcome you to my new online Fine Art Shop! The vision for my shop has been developing in my mind for quite some time. I envisioned not only sharing my paintings and writings, but also my interest in creating "space" and how it affects us. In a way the concept actually began when I was a child. 

Much of my childhood play was spent outside where I used my imagination to create exciting new adventures. One fun activity I loved to do, was to imagine special rooms in the space around me. If it was winter, I would find small nooks and pretend a little room existed. Here I would envision furniture within the space. My friends and I would often build furniture to fit in this special space. Such fun! 

As an adult I find I still love creating special spots in my home or little vignettes where I display fine art. The paintings and the world or objects they represent create a sense of comfort and adventure, allowing my mind to escape everyday responsibilities. Fine Art  plays a role in creating mini retreats within your space, without you ever having to leave your seat!
